DestinationWeddings.com recently announced that Richard Calvert will serve as president and CEO at DestinationWeddings.com following the retirement of founder Quentin “Bud” Carmichael.

Calvert will join DestinationWeddings.com in June and brings 25 years of experience in the international travel and leisure industry. In his native Wales, Calvert served as U.K. managing director of mainstream tour operations for Thomas Cook Group plc, one of the world's leading leisure travel groups. He also served as overseas purchasing director for the U.K., Canada and Scandinavia for TUI Travel PLC, the world’s largest integrated travel organization.
