El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels by Karisma has selected Luis A. Mendez as the new director of meetings and incentives. In his new position, Mendez will be focusing on encouraging an increase of group business through innovative strategies, initiatives and promotions.

Mendez has 20 years of extensive experience in sales and marketing for corporate, leisure and groups markets. In the past, Mendez has worked for top name hotel and resort companies, such as Westin, Ritz-Carlton and Renaissance.
