The JW Marriott Hotel Los Angeles at L.A. Live has appointed new sales executives for the 878-room property, set to open in March 2010.
Formerly the director of sales and marketing for Blackstone Renaissance Hotel in Chicago, Peter Psihas joins the team as the director of group sales. Psihas, who has been with Marriot since 1989, has held sales positions at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina Del Rey, Hollywood Renaissance, JW Marriott Century City and Chicago Downtown Marriott.
Hannah Bartell, a southern California native, joins the hotel as the property’s destination sales manager, responsible for proactive sales generation in the local business community. Recently, Bartell was awarded the title of "Manager of the Quarter" by the Renaissance Montura and won the Spirit to Serve award for her work at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.
