El Conquistador Resort, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, has appointed Puerto Rico-native Evy Garcia as its new director of sales.
Garcia is a seasoned hospitality industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience. She will be responsible for managing the sales department, maximizing revenue, business development, community involvement and will lead the execution of strategic sales plans and initiatives for El Conquistador Resort, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, and its sister property, Las Casitas Resort, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, in conjunction with Robert Filipelli, the managing director of sales and marketing.
