Gogo Worldwide vacations recognized top performing managers at a
four-day conference and awards banquet hosted by Dreams Los Cabos
resort, Sept. 20-24.
Sixteen Gogo managers were honored with a variety of awards
based on service, sales, growth and initiative.
“It is always a pleasure and an honor for us to award our top
performers,” said Laurie Palumbo, senior vice president of Gogo
Worldwide Vacations. “We have a tremendous amount of talented and
passionate travel professionals, and we enjoy recognizing their
hard work and devotion.”
The conference also provided an opportunity for managers to
focus on education with general assemblies, roundtable discussions
and one-on-one appointments with Gogo executives.
Agents Win With Disney
Walt Disney Travel Co.’s “Happiest Celebration on Earth” agent
promotion has ended and winners have been announced.
The Walt Disney World Resort grand prize went to Linda Smith of
AAA Travel in Birmingham, Ala., and Kim Littlejohn from Auto Club
AAA in Newark, Ohio.
The Disneyland grand prize was awarded to Pam George from All
About Travel in Mission, Kan., and Debra Lopez of Dreams Unlimited
in Littleton, Colo.
The promotional campaign rewarded agents with a scratch-off game
piece for each qualified booking with a deposit between April 1 and
May 20. During the promotion more than 18,000 gifts were given
away.
