Steven Rose has been appointed general manager of the new 628-suite Honua Kai Resort & Spa located on 38 acres of the Kaanapali North Beach in Maui. Rose has nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, having worked as the general manager at The Westin Monache Resort in Mammoth Lakes, Calif.; The American Club Resort Hotel in Kohler, Wis.; and The Pines Lodge, A RockResort, The Inn at Beaver Creek and Trappers Cabin in Beaver Creek, Colo.
Rose will manage the day-to-day operations of the new resort. He has an undergraduate degree in theater from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and received his M.B.A. from the University of Denver.
