Kerzner International recently announced the appointment of Mark Benson, vice president of group sales. Benson has more than two decades of luxury resort experience specializing in group meeting, association and incentive markets. Most recently, he led the international sales efforts for Hotelera Posadas, a hotel company in Latin America featuring brands such as Live Aqua, Fiesta Americana and Caesar Park Hotels and Resorts. Prior to Hotelera Posadas, Benson had a 13-year career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company with sales leadership assignments at resorts in Hawaii and Florida.
In his new role, Benson will be responsible for leading the sales team, setting strategic direction and goals while achieving revenue targets for Atlantis, Paradise Island.
