Terranea Resort has announced the appointment of Kimberly Baez to director of meetings and special events for the 582-room oceanfront resort in Southern California.
“Kimberly’s successful track record, wealth of industry knowledge and hard-working, energetic attitude will be a tremendous asset in creating spectacular meetings and events at Terranea,” said Mark Kaussner, director of catering and conference services. “We look forward to having her as a leader in our meetings and events team.”
Baez comes to Terranea from The Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena, Calif., where she served in a similar capacity and successfully managed key accounts through a rebranding of the property from a Ritz-Carlton to a Langham. Prior to The Langham, Baez worked as a meeting and events specialist for a number of luxury properties including The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, Calif., and the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach, Calif.
