The Oberoi Group has named Liam Lambert president of Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. As president, Lambert will report to the chairman of The Oberoi Group, P.R.S. Oberoi.
“On behalf of The Oberoi Group, I welcome Mr. Lambert to Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. I am confident that he will provide excellent leadership and direction for our present portfolio as well as our future growth,” said Oberoi.
Lambert has spent more than 30 years in the hospitality industry, holding positions at hotels and resorts across the globe. Before joining the Oberoi team, Lambert was the director of operations, Europe, Middle East and Africa for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
Leadership Change at Cunard

As part of Carnival UK’s new management structure, Peter Shanks has been appointed president and managing director of Cunard Line. Shanks’ experience with Cunard began in 2001 as senior vice president for Europe. He was later responsible for the launch of the Queen Mary 2 in 2004 and served as chief commercial officer for Carnival UK.
Azamara Acts Boldly

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCCL) has selected Larry Pimentel for the newly created position of president and CEO of Azamara Cruises. Pimentel has more than 25 years of travel industry experience and, most recently, he served as president, CEO and co-owner of Seadream Yacht Club.
“I welcome Larry to the company and look forward to partnering with him to build on the success this brand has already achieved and to capitalize on its great promise,” said Dan Hanrahan, the president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises, which is also operated by RCCL.
