Loreto, Mexico, reaches out to agents during a dinner and mini-trade show held at Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard
Earlier this month, the Secretary of Tourism of the State Government of Baja California Sur, the Mexico Tourism Board and the Hotel Association of Loreto hosted a festive evening at the Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard for agents and the travel trade. The event included a mini-trade show, door prizes, a Mexican-themed dinner, a presentation about Loreto and a live band performance lead by the vocal stylings of Jorge Gaboa Patron — the director of the Mexico Tourism Board.
In addition to learning about new developments in Loreto — such as the city’s first five-star hotel, La Mision — agents were informed about Alaska Airlines’ four weekly nonstop flights from LAX to Loreto. Alberto Trevino Angulo, the Secretary of Tourism of the State Government of Baja California Sur, was also on hand to field questions and welcome guests.
