Beverley Matthews has been appointed general manager at the Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa, An Auberge Resort in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. In her new role, Matthews will oversee all operations for the 49-suite resort, which includes a restaurant and full-service spa situated atop a 43-acre plateau.
“We are delighted to welcome Beverley to Rancho Valencia,” said Hal Jacobs, co-owner of Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa. “Her experience managing iconic small luxury properties around the world will be an invaluable asset to our resort.”
Matthews’ storied career includes working at famed properties such as Twin Farms in Branard, Vt., Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island and Aman Resorts’ Carcosa Seri Negara. Matthews also developed her own boutique property in England’s Cotswolds.
