Gary Murphy has joined the Amawaterways team as vice president of national accounts. His 25 years of experience in the tourism industry includes various roles at Brendan Worldwide Vacations, including the role of president since 2001.
Murphy will report to executive vice president and co-owner, Kristin Karst, and will be based in company’s Chatsworth, Calif., headquarters.
“Gary is joining our team at a key moment in our company’s growth. His industry experience and long-established ties with the travel agent community will be a valuable asset in helping us meet the increased demand for our great river cruise products,” said Karst.
