Pyramid Hotel Group has named Angelina Preza the new director of sales and marketing at Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa on Hawaii, the Big Island. Preza will be responsible for meeting resort goals for leisure and group business bookings, soliciting new accounts and nurturing existing accounts and directing the resort sales team.
“Angelina’s prior experience in Hawaii and on Hawaii Island specifically is a plus. That she is born and raised in Hawaii and understands our role in this community makes me really excited about the enthusiasm and talent she brings to this important position,” said Steve Lindburg, area managing director and Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa general manager. “With our $16 million renewal on target for mid-summer completion, it is critical that we have the right person in place as our director of sales and marketing. Angelina is that person.”
Preza previously served as senior director of sales for the Big Island Visitors Bureau. She has held director positions with Aqua Hotels & Resorts, Sunterra Resorts, Marc Resorts Hawaii and the Lodge at Koele and Manele Bay Hotels.
