New Faces at Travel Bound

Mar 17, 2011

Travel Bound appointed four new business development managers: Jane Golonka, covering the New York City area; Debbie Spatola, serving the Mid-Atlantic region; Jennifer Zammit, responsible for eastern Canada; and Tamara Mallin for western Canada.

Golonka is a 25-year veteran of the travel industry and previously worked for Delta Air Lines, Trafalgar and Rail Europe. Spatola has been in the travel business for 18 years and has held positions at Uniglobe, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Travelport and Carey International. Zammit has 11 years of experience in the industry with positions at Thomas Cook Canada, Navigant International Canada and Carlson Wagonlit Travelscope. Mallin has worked as a travel agent and in sales for 16 years at companies including MyTravel Canada, Insight Vacations, Alio and eWaterways.

“Jane, Debbie, Jennifer and Tamara bring us a wealth of experience in the travel business and in-depth knowledge of their territories, as well,” said Tom Buchberger, direct of business development for Travel Bound. “This brings the total number of [our] business development managers to 14 locally based people to provide in-house training and support to our travel agent partners.”
