After an 18-year career in the travel agency industry, Robbi Hamida has expanded his role from director of strategic air programs to vice president of air and corporate programs. The promotion has Hamida overseeing Nexion’s plans to increase transit, hotel and travel insurance bookings with Nexion’s supplier partners and lead ticketing teams. He will also oversee Nexion’s corporate program offerings and business-to-business marketing initiatives.
“Throughout his four years at Nexion, Robbi has consistently demonstrated his tenacity for competently providing innovative solutions for just about any challenge we bring to his attention,” said Nexion president Jackie Friedman, CTE, CTIE. “As a former independent travel agent himself, affiliated with Nexion, Robbi brings a unique perspective that enables him to identify with our growing agent population.”
Hamida joined Nexion as director of agent development in 2008.
