The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel has appointed Marc Messina as the property’s new general manager.
“The city of Denver has great potential and it is a tremendous opportunity to work with one of Denver and Colorado’s premier hotels,” said Messina. “I am delighted to reconnect and begin a new chapter of my journey with Sheraton and Starwood, as well as a new life chapter for me and my family in Denver and Colorado.”
From 1994 to 2011, Messina served various roles at Anatole hotel in Dallas, including as general manager. Messina was recognized for his work leading the hotel. In 2010, under his supervision, the property received the AAA Four Diamond rating for the first time.
