Nestled on the banks of the Miami River, the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel and Executive Meeting Center recently appointed David Berger as its new general manager. Berger will oversee all operations for the 405-room property and for the first full-service Executive Meeting Center in Southern Florida.
As a 14-year industry veteran and 25-year resident of Florida, Berger is new to neither hospitality nor Florida Sheratons. He was previously the general manager of the Sheraton Downtown Hotel in Orlando, Fla., where he led a successful property improvement plan.
Prior to his involvement with Sheraton, he managed properties throughout his career with Hilton Hotels and Marriott Hotels and Resorts.
