The Village at Squaw Valley USA announced the promotion of Christy Beck to general manager of the resort’s lodging property. Beck has played an important role in the resort since before it opened in 2002 and moves into her new role after more than eight years overseeing the property’s sales and marketing department.
Beck has served as the interim general manager since Nov. 13, but the title did not become official until the finalization of Squaw Valley Ski Corporation’s purchase of The Village from Intrawest in January.
“I’m excited to be at the helm of a property that has been an important part of my life for almost nine years,” Beck said. “In my new role, I will continue to make the satisfaction of guests and homeowners a priority by maintaining the same high level of quality for which The Village at Squaw Valley has become known.”
