Tourism Fiji has appointed Michael Meade as acting CEO. In his new role, Meade will guide Fijian tourism as the organization starts to implement a new change in its strategic goals and objectives.
Meade has previously held senior management and marketing roles in some of the world’s leading hospitality and aviation brands, including Southern Pacific Hotels Corporation, InterContinental Hotels Group and Rendezvous Hospitality Group.
“Michael is one of Asia Pacific’s most successful tourism executives and he brings a wealth of over 30 years of knowledge and experience to Tourism Fiji,” said Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, Fiji’s minister of tourism and attorney general.
