Central Holidays has introduced a new riverboat on the Nile River. Dedicated specifically to the North American market, HS Nebu joins a fleet that now totals 11 vessels under parent company Sakarra Group International (SGI).

“We are thrilled to demonstrate our commitment to travel in Egypt and to the U.S. travel market with this investment that sets a new standard of luxury in Nile River cruising,” said Baher Ghabbour, chairman and CEO of SGI.

“We invite everyone to come experience the ultimate dream vacation in Egypt with Central Holidays, sailing onboard our newest five-star deluxe Nile cruise ship, HS Nebu,” Ghabbour said. “Building on our legacy on the Nile nearly 50 years strong, our revolutionary new river cruise vessel features unparalleled modernity with traditionally inspired touches that transport guests both literally and figuratively to the lands of ancient pharaohs, golden-clad tombs and legendary pyramids — all while sailing in the lap of luxury.”

Nebu showcases 40 cabins in total, and Central Holidays claims they are “the largest in their respective categories on the Nile River.” Thirty-three spacious staterooms measure in at 301 square feet and feature French balconies. There are also four 205-square-foot single suites, plus a pair of 452-square-foot executive suites and one grand 764-square-foot Owner’s Suite, complete with a full balcony.

“Since 1972, we’ve taken travelers to experience the mystifying sights, vibrant sounds and endless delights of Egypt,” said Tewfik Ghattas, board member of SGI.

“This expertise translates into the most authentically rich experiences of a lifetime for travel advisors and their clients as they sail with us onboard Nebu and in each fascinating port along the way.”

Ghattas added that Central Holidays is expanding its sales team with the addition of Egypt travel specialist and Egypt native, Mayye Osman, as its new manager of Egypt product development and destination specialist.
