If your clients love a good Pinot Noir, Riesling or Port, why not encourage them to take their passion further on a Celebration of Wine River Cruise through Europe?

Designed with your clients in mind, AmaWaterways’ wine-themed cruises offer enhanced epicurean experiences while ambling along rivers that are lined with spectacular wineries and historic vines. Among them are the world’s steepest vineyards in Germany’s Moselle Valley, France’s iconic Burgundy and Bordeaux regions, Portugal’s breathtaking Douro Valley and more.

Whether your clients are self-described connoisseurs or simply enjoy a glass now and then, these special cruises offer the ultimate wine-tasting experience that will fully immerse their senses, from the sound of popping corks to tasting notes of cinnamon and clove.

What’s Included

Alongside a dedicated Wine Host, guests learn everything from the origin of the different vines to the unique terroir of the regions that create each varietal, plus discover complementary flavor profiles during onboard tastings and a specially paired dinner. Significant others less interested in wine? No problem! With up to eight included excursions available each day, guests can leave the tastings and winery visits behind for more active excursions or historic walking tours accommodating all levels of mobility.

Of course, your clients will be pampered with AmaWaterways’ signature complimentary amenities: exquisite, locally sourced cuisine at every meal; a selection of fine wines, as well as beer and soft drinks, during lunch and dinner; a daily Sip & Sail cocktail hour; nightly entertainment in the Main Lounge; high-quality Wi-Fi and entertainment on demand; and so much more.

Guests enjoy a variety of excursions, both wine-themed and not.

Uncork in the Off-Season

The travel industry is seeing increasing numbers of travelers seeking off-peak vacations. With more than 70 annual Wine Cruises and dozens of sailings departing in October and November, your clients can visit charming villages and go wine tasting just like the locals do, uninhibited by peak-season crowds. The weather in autumn is ideal for AmaWaterways’ included small-group hikes and bike rides, as well as for warming up in the sun-deck whirlpools or heated pools — and for catching a glimpse of the vibrant fall foliage along Europe’s rivers. November is also a notable month as it is when the year’s new wine, called Beaujolais Nouveau, is released in France for all to enjoy.

Select Wine Cruises are eligible for AmaWaterways’ Complimentary Land Package offer through June 30, 2024. Whether your clients wish to rest and recharge after their international flights or decompress in a new city before returning home, more than 20 pre- and post-cruise land packages in spectacular destinations are available as part of this offer. Exceptional hotels are located in the heart of each city, with daily breakfast, guided excursions and transfers between the hotel and river cruise ship all included with AmaWaterways’ compliments. Best of all, land packages include the services of a friendly Cruise Manager who is there to ensure your clients have everything they need along the way.
