Apple Vacations Makes Destination Wedding Planning Easy

May 15, 2011

For more than 40 years, Apple Vacations and its travel agent partners have helped countless brides and grooms, honeymooners, anniversary couples and romantics plan their special occasion in paradise.

Destination weddings continue to grow in popularity. After all, what’s more romantic than exchanging vows in paradise while barefoot in the sand? Destination weddings are quite practical too, because they are usually far more affordable than traditional weddings. Many of Apple Vacations’ featured resorts even offer FREE weddings set on stunning beachfront locations, including a beautiful reception with all the amenities. Planning a destination wedding is exciting, and much less stressful than traditional wedding planning thanks to the help of an experienced wedding coordinator at the resort.

Over the years, Apple Vacations has created several media assets so travel agents can better sell destination weddings to their clients.  Apple’s new destination weddings and honeymoon microsite can now be personalized with an Apple affiliate agency’s phone number. All an agent needs to do is replace his/her own 8-digit agency ID in the link (http://www.applevacations.com/weddings-in-paradise/?agentId=39543906) and forward to potential destination wedding clients. The agency phone number will appear within the pages of the destinations weddings microsite.

The destination weddings miscrosite allows clients to shop not only by destination, but also by hotel brand. In addition to the wedding packages featured, some of the resorts offer fully customizable packages, so if a client has a specific dream wedding in mind, the resort can make it happen. It’s impossible to list all the options available – the possibilities are endless.

Travel agents can order a dedicated destination weddings and honeymoon brochure from Apple Vacations Travel Agent Café. These beautiful and informative pieces are great for bridal shows or to send to prospective couples. The destination weddings and honeymoon brochures are a snapshot into the many options a travel agent can present to inquisitive brides.

New this season is Apple Vacations’ new destination weddings video. It’s easy for agents to embed the video code from You Tube on to their own website, so clients can view the benefits of a destination wedding.  And, preferred travel agents can request Apple Vacations destination weddings postcards from their sales manager for personalization and distribution to their clients.

Apple Vacations offers great benefits for groups consisting of 10 rooms or more, such as free airfare and hotel stays, lenient deposit policies, our Groups Best Price Guarantee, double Royalties points and more. At some of our most popular and romantic resorts, clients can enjoy many great group benefits with groups as small as five rooms. If a group consists of less than ten rooms, we highly recommend our Groupease (formerly “Destination I Do”) program.  Wedding parties are provided with their own promotional code, and every time any of the guests book with Apple Vacations using the promotional code, the bride, groom and wedding party save.

Another option for travel agents to recommend to their clients is Apple Vacations’ honeymoon registry at registry.applevacations.com. Clients should be sure to browse through the sample honeymoon registry for suggestions on all the wonderful items guests can give as a wedding gift. Couples can create a stunning honeymoon registry and wedding website and be on their way to the honeymoon of their dreams – possibly for free – and bookable through their favorite travel agent.

From marketing materials to a great portfolio of wedding-friendly resorts, Apple Vacations is a travel agent’s one-stop shop for destination wedding planning.  Apple Vacations will take care of all the flights, transfers and hotel arrangements, and put clients directly in touch with the hotel to plan and book the wedding package of their choice.

Say “I do” to letting Apple Vacations plan the wedding of your clients’ dreams. Whether it’s a group of 5, 50 or 500, thousands of happy brides agree that Apple Vacations is the key to wedding-day bliss!
