Great Arizona Picnic |
This year’s Scottsdale Culinary Festival in Scottsdale, Ariz., will take place from April 13 to 18. For one week, clients can indulge in savory delights and sun-drenched days with an average temperature of 84 degrees. The festival, one of the country’s longest-running food festivals, offers culinary events ranging from the casual to the upscale. Not-to-be-missed spots include the Friends of James Beard Benefit Dinner at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa; the Chef Tribute Dinner at J&G Steakhouse; sessions with a Mixologist "On the Rocks" at Hotel Valley Ho; Eat, Drink & Be Pretty at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts; and the biggest event, the Great Arizona Picnic at Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza.
This year the culinary event is a fresher festival because of a new partnership with Singh Farms, a 20-acre, family-run farm in Scottsdale known for its sustainable practices. Singh Farms and the Scottsdale Culinary Festival planted a vegetable garden on the grounds of the Scottsdale Center for the Arts that will provide fresh herbs and produce to be used at this year’s event.
Ticket prices range from $5 to $200 per person.
