For the first time, Alaska Wildland Adventures is offering clients a Limited Edition Value Vacation, a seven-night, all-inclusive vacation through Kenai Peninsula for $2,895 per person. The trip is designed to offer clients a taste of each of Alaska Wildland’s most popular excursions.
Clients will stay in all three of the tour operator’s wilderness lodges — Kenai Riverside Lodge, Kenai Backcountry Lodge and Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge, the only lodge in Kenai Fjords National Park — and have plenty of activity options along the way. For example, clients can choose a full day of salmon and rainbow trout sport-fishing or opt for guided hikes through Kenai National Wildlife Refuge or Chugach National Forest.
On the third day, travelers will watch for moose and bald eagles on a rafting trip down the Kenai River, stopping for a gourmet picnic lunch.
Other activities include boating on Skilak Lake, relaxing the lodge’s woodfired saunas, a catamaran tour of Kenai Fjords National Park and sunset kayaking.
