In Denver’s buzzy Cherry Creek district, urban living is framed by clear blue skies and lush greenery. Clients with a fondness for the finer things in life will feel at home here, as the popular area is a shopping mecca of big-name brands, high-end stores and independently owned boutiques.

Also lining Cherry Creek’s immaculate streets are abundant art galleries, spas, salons, cafes and restaurants — altogether amounting to some 500 establishments that invite visitors to come and stay awhile.

A rainbow-colored medley of citrus-marinated beets — sitting pretty on top of drizzled mint pesto — tasted even better than it looked, while a stacked seared tuna salad also shone with flavor and beauty.

Both the views and the digs are ace at The Jacquard Hotel & Rooftop, an Autograph Collection, which serves as a fine base for exploring Cherry Creek and beyond. The four-star property understands the clientele that its neighborhood attracts, with a setting that’s modern and stylish, and has just the right measure of opulence.

Each of The Jacquard’s 201 guestrooms features floor-to-ceiling windows, a television equipped with streaming services, a refillable glass bottle (for use at the hotel’s hydration stations), a Nespresso machine, a minibar with artisanal goods and even a gratis bestselling book that can be taken home. Other unique draws are Peloton bikes at the impressive on-site gym, a rooftop lap pool and complimentary transportation within a 2-mile radius in the house car, a Tesla Model X.

If clients need a bit of fresh air, they can escape the lines and the crowds in favor of the Cherry Creek Trail, which is especially popular with cyclists. Travelers, too, can join in on the fun: More than 85 Denver B-cycle bike-sharing systems dot the city, and all it takes is a quick swipe of a credit card to hit the smooth path’s 13 miles on two wheels.

The picturesque path runs along its namesake creek and passes multiple attractions, including Four Mile Historic Park, which has gardens and a 160-year-old museum.
