This Halloween, the recently renovated Hotel Andaluz in Albuquerque, N.M., is touting its reputation as a favorite among resident ghost guests. According to legend, the hotel is home to ghosts who like to occupy its second, fourth and seventh floors, as well as its ballroom.
Its most popular ghost is that of a young female partygoer still dressed in her best 1940’s dress attire, searching for her guestroom on the hotel’s seventh floor. Another ghost has been described as an elderly woman wearing a pink dress, wondering throughout the hotel’s fourth floor.
Hotel Andaluz was built in 1939 by hotel mogul Conrad Hilton, chosen for its accessibility to Route 66 and nearby railroad depot. It is located in the heart of downtown Albuquerque.
