Three months of family fun begins Memorial Day weekend with Arizona Biltmore’s 2nd annual Hollywood and Wine festival. Running through Labor Day, the summer-long festival is a production of nonstop fun that includes concerts, activities and events for everyone.
Plenty of special activities are available just for the younger members of the family. Splash Cinema, one of the festival’s family highlights, takes place on Saturday nights throughout the summer and allows families to watch a “dive-in” movie on the big screen at Paradise Pool. The Imagination Emporium features kids’ films as well as a new children’s program that includes activities each weekend and a game room focused on film and animation.
“The first Hollywood and Wine was so successful last year that we have made it an annual event, and this year’s festival will be bigger and better,” said Andrew Stegen, general manager of the Arizona Biltmore. “We’ll have more celebrity bands in concert and top Hollywood professionals revealing their creative secrets at special events, as well as an extensive calendar of movie screenings, live theater productions and tastings with celebrity winemakers.”
Each month celebrates a specific kind of Hollywood style, featuring unique events tailored for families. From live performances by the Southwest Shakespeare Company to wine tastings from well-known winemakers and classes taught by celebrity chefs, there is something available at the festival for the whole family.
During the three months of the Hollywood-themed festival, the Arizona Biltmore will offer its lowest room rates of the year with classic rooms starting at $119 per night.
