The Go West Summit will be held in Boise, Idaho, Feb. 7-10 at Boise Centre with activities and tours taking place throughout the city. The Go West Summit tradeshow brings representatives from 13 Western states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Texas, Washington and Wyoming) to meet with international travel buyers and tour operators from Latin America, Europe, the U.K., Canada and Asia. These buyers and operators are interested in Idaho as a destination for international travelers.
The Go West Summit is an opportunity for tourism industry suppliers to meet with buyers during one-on-one appointments to promote the destinations, attractions, resorts and services they represent. Attendees at this year’s summit include approximately 100 tour operators and wholesale buyers and nearly 300 suppliers, eight of which are from Idaho.
In addition to participating in the supplier/buyer meetings, attendees can choose from a variety of tours that showcase many attractions and activities in the area including skiing at Brundage Mountain Resort, attending the McCall Winter Carnival, visiting Sun Valley, skiing at Bogus Basin Mountain Resort, taking a culinary walking tour in downtown Boise and more. Evening events will showcase Boise’s Basque culture and Idaho entertainers, Jimmy Bivens and Rebecca Scott.
