British Airways to fly to Las Vegas |
A new, daily non-stop flight between Las Vegas McCarran Airport and London Heathrow will be launched by British Airways on Sunday, October 25, 2009. The new flights will be operated exclusively to and from Heathrow’s Terminal 5 by a three-class Boeing 777 offering Club World (business class), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and World Traveller (economy). The Club World cabin will feature 36 seats that convert to 180-degree, lie flat seats. The daily eastbound flight will depart Las Vegas at 7 p.m. and arrive in Heathrow at 12:50 p.m. the following day. The westbound flight leaves London at 2:20 p.m. and arrives in Las Vegas at 5:10 p.m. the same afternoon.
"Las Vegas will be British Airways’ 19th city in U.S. with daily flights to the UK and we will be playing all the high stakes to make this flight a huge success for Las Vegas and our airline," said Simon Talling-Smith, Executive Vice President Americas for British Airways.
