California Hotels Offer Holiday Packages

This year, a number of hotels throughout the state of California are offering holiday packages to entice travelers during the upcoming holiday travel season.

A Hassle-Free Holiday in San Diego
At the Omni San Diego Hotel in San Diego, clients can book a Hassle-Free Holiday package that includes deluxe guestroom accommodations for two; complimentary gift wrapping; a fruitcake; the services of an on-site Holiday Concierge; and free valet parking. The packages is available from Nov. 21 through Jan. 4, 2011, and is priced from $129 per room, per night. The promotional code “fruitcake” should be applied at the time of booking. Clients can also add the additional options to their package, including a fully decorated Christmas tree for $175 and a special note card and pen for children to send their wish lists to Santa in a designated mailbox located in the lobby.

Shopping Spree Getaways in Beverly Hills and Laguna Beach
Montage Laguna Beach and Montage Beverly Hills are offering Holiday Shopping Spree Getaway packages through Dec. 31, priced from $545 per night at the Laguna Beach property and from $495 per night at the Beverly Hills property. Packages include two-night accommodations, daily breakfast, a shopping excursion with complimentary transportation and gift wrapping.

Both Montage properties are hosting a series of events throughout the holiday season, including an Artistry of Wine series from Dec. 6-11 featuring sommeliers and wine tastings as well as Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.

Clients who stay at the Montage Beverly Hills can also sign up for a Holiday Couples Culinary Connection private class, taught by one of the hotel’s chefs, or a private Holiday Baking Class taught by the hotel’s executive pastry chef, Richard Ruskell.

At the Montage Laguna Beach, guests can participate in a tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 29. On Christmas Eve, parents can celebrate the holiday with their children by attending a reading of “T’was the Night Before Christmas,” partaking in a search for Santa’s sleigh and booking a Santa Tuck-in, complete with a bedtime story and milk and cookies, for an additional cost of $50. Christmas Eve rates at the Montage Laguna Beach are priced from $375 per night.

Home for the Holidays in San Francisco
The Hyatt Regency San Francisco’s San Francisco on Sale holiday rate includes a Shop SF/Get More savings card that is redeemable for discounts and special offers at more than 200 retailers throughout San Francisco. The package is available from Nov. 19 through Jan. 6, 2011, with rates starting at $159 per night, based on double occupancy. The booking code “PRM2” should be applied at the time of booking.

Clients can also book an Ice Skating package that takes advantage of the Embarcadero Center’s holiday ice rink, which is located steps away from the hotel. The package includes premium room accommodations and two ice rink tickets for $169 per night, based on double occupancy. It is available from Nov. 19 through Dec. 30 with the booking code “skate.”
