The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort in Waikiki, is now the backdrop for romantic experiences designed by world-renowned event planner David Beahm. Mastermind behind the elaborate nuptials of actors Catherine-Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas, Beahm has created several exclusive destination wedding packages for the iconic Pink Palace of the Pacific.

The first package is called the Princess Kawananakoa. On the day of arrival, a chauffeur greets the couple at the airport and escorts them in a sedan to the hotel. Upon their arrival, the couple is presented with a white orchid lei for the bride and a kukui nut lei for the groom. In their garden suite awaits a chilled bottle of champagne and a basket of amenities including fresh baked banana bread, a cheese platter and a fruit plate. Following his-and hers massages, the bride and groom dine at the hotel's Azure restaurant or in a private cabana under the stars. The evening ends with chocolate truffles placed upon the pillows before bedtime.

On the day of the wedding, breakfast and cocktails are served in bed. The bride and groom have their pick of wedding locations, from the gardens or ocean lawn to the roof top. Beahm arranges a custom floral arbor at the wedding location for the ceremony. The bride receives a flower head wreath, lei for her neck and bouquet while the groom dons a fresh maile lei. A wedding officiate is provided to conduct the ceremony before the couple toasts with a glass of champagne. A one-hour photography session and a commemorative wedding certificate are included in the package, which starts at $9,500.

Couples may choose to upgrade to the second package -- the Queen Liliuokalani -- which includes everything in the Princess Kawananakoa plus a personal wedding specialist from the hotel, a pressing of the bride’s dress and the groom’s suit, and two nights in a spa suite or ocean junior suite. Flower petals are strewn throughout the ceremonial area while the aisle is adorned with floral arrangements. The bride walks down the aisle to a solo acoustic performance. The Queen Liliuokalani package includes two hours of photography and starts at $16,000.

The third package, dubbed King Kamehameha, includes everything in the Queen Liliuokalani with an upgrade to the hotel’s Kamehameha Suite or the Owner’s Suite for three nights. The package also includes a 50-minute couple’s massage supplemented with 45-minute manicures and pedicures for both the bride and groom and a private cabana. On the wedding day, the procession begins the blowing of a conch shell and an acoustic performance by a trio of musicians. At the conclusion of the ceremony there is a performance by a hula dancer. The celebration continues with a champagne toast for up to 25 guests. The couple returns to a rose petal-strewn wedding suite. Three hours of photography, a commemorative wedding certificate and a special gift from the hotel is also included in this premium package, which starts at $34,000 .

For all David Beahm-designed destination wedding packages, members of the wedding party receive special room rates and spa discounts for their time of stay.

For couples not planning to tie the knot yet, David Beahm has created a two-day romantic getaway called the Royal Escape package, with a chauffeur airport pickup and welcome leis for the couple, chilled champagne, basket of edibles and chocolate truffles before bedtime. Couples also get massages, manicures and pedicures. The pampering continues with dinner for two, breakfast in bed the next day, and champagne and a rose petal bath on the second night. Rates start at $6,000.
