Seattle's annual Earshot Jazz Festival returns from Oct. 15-Nov. 7 with more than 50 concerts in performance venues throughout the city.
Now in its 22nd year, the festival presents a mix of jazz greats from around the world as well as local artists, including the city's award-winning high school jazz programs and resident artists.
In addition to concert performances, the festival includes educational programs and panels and a film series.
Some of the highlights planned for the 2010 festival include performances by Bill Frisell, Robert Glasper, Joshua Roman, Mavis Staples, James Carter, Steve Lehman, Gail Pettis, Cuong Vu and Rufus Reid.
