The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess has partnered with TPC Scottsdale to create a cutting-edge golf vacation package designed to help golf travelers play their best while visiting one of Scottsdale’s most celebrated golf environments. The Golf Fit package provides a program to help golfers understand the connection between their physical well-being and their performance on the golf course.
“A player’s mobility, stability and physical well-being have tremendous influence over their ability to perform on the golf course,” said Brennan Evans, director of Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. “Our new Golf Fit package is designed to educate players about the importance of this relationship, while treating them to a relaxing, enjoyable and worthwhile golf vacation. What’s more, we walk our guests through the key points of each element, so they can continue benefiting from the experience once they return home.”
During the fitness portion of the program, a Willow Stream Spa personal trainer works with the golfer to access his or her balance, agility and core strength to determine areas for improvement. They work together on fundamentals that support the golf swing and create a series of customized stretches and exercises with basic equipment that can be continued at home or at the guest’s local fitness facility.
