Great Skiing Deals in Utah for 2011

Home to great snow and some of the finest parts of the Rocky Mountains, Utah has longtime been a prime destination for skiers and snowboarders alike. This ski season is no different, and the state’s hotels and resorts are offering some great deals for those who want to enjoy the snow without breaking the bank.

There have also been great new additions to Utah’s ski facilities, including new terrain (Eagle Point), a new accommodations (Montage Deer Valley) and improvements in mountain facilities, including North America’s first heated chair lift at The Canyons.

Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort
Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort in Snowbird, Utah, offers more than 3,000 vertical feel of skiing. Through April 2, adventure-seekers can spend more time mastering the challenging terrain with a Stay and Ski Free package. Guests receive a fifth-night free at The Inn at Snowbird and two tram and chair passes per night. Rates start at $156 per night, per person, based on double occupancy.

Sundance Resort
Sundance Resort in Sundance, Utah, is offering a Stay and Ski Free Package in which guests receive two lift passes per day when they book a stay at Sundance Resort through April 2. Passes include both day and night skiing when available. Blackout dates include January 20-30. Weekday rates start at $269 per night.

The Canyons
The Canyons Ski, Dream & Dine package provides guests the opportunity to experience the freedom of skiing and riding on 4,000 acres of great snow at The Canyons in Park City, Utah. The package, valid through April 9, is offered at The Canyons’ five lodging facilities and starts at $209 per night, based on double occupancy. Guests staying in a hotel room, studio or one-bedroom suite will receive two, multi-day lift tickets and a buffet breakfast for two each day. Guests staying in two-bedroom units or larger will receive four, multi-day lift tickets and four breakfast buffets each day.

Eagle Point
Utah’s newest ski resort, Eagle Point located in Beaver, Utah, is offering guests a lodging and ski package for its opening season. The package includes accommodations for two nights at Beaver Comfort Inn and Suites and two lift tickets for two days of skiing at Eagle Point. Rates start at $275, based on double occupancy, and the offer is valid through the end of the 2011 season.
