Hawaiian Airlines is adding special flights to its regular schedule of service between Maui and Oakland, Honolulu and Los Angeles, and Honolulu and Pago Pago, American Samoa. The carrier is responding to increased demand for air travel during the upcoming holiday season.
From Maui to Oakland, the special flights start Dec. 13, 2010, with service concluding on Jan. 10, 2011.
For the Honolulu to Los Angeles route, Hawaiian has added service between Dec. 15-22, Dec. 25-29 and Jan. 1-5. The extra return flight is available Dec. 16-23, Dec. 26-30 and Jan. 2-6.
Clients traveling between Honolulu and Pago Pago have an additional flight available for travel on Dec. 14, 21, 28 and Jan. 4.
Hawaiian is operating the special holiday flights with its wide-body twin-aisle Boeing 767-300 aircraft that seats up to 264 passengers, with 18 seats in first class and the remainder in coach.
