Hyatt Regency Tamaya Launches New Green Program for Meetings

The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M., has announced the launch of Meet and Be Green, a new program that encourages guests and planners to make eco-conscious choices for their meetings. These include using products with 100 percent recyclable materials, printing materials locally, minimizing shipping, maintaining room temperatures at an appropriate level, eliminating disposable water bottles, minimizing the use of disposable plates, napkins and utensils and selecting locally grown seasonal foods when planning the menu.

For new meetings booked by Dec. 20 and held by March 31, 2011, groups that participate in the Meet and be Green program at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya will be eligible for a 3 percent rebate on qualifying charges.
