Golf courses throughout the state of Idaho are officially open for a season of world-class golfing options. The Idaho Golf Trail includes four loops in different regions of the state and 14 courses, with varying difficulty and scenery.
The northern loop features Stone Ridge, Coeur d'Alene Resort, Circling Raven and the University of Idaho golf courses, located near fir tree forests and mountain lakes. On the central loop, golfers can play Meadow Creek, Tamarack, Whitetail and Jug Mountain Ranch, nestled in lush valleys surrounded by pine trees. The southern loop includes Banburry and Falcon Crest near Boise, as well as the Sun Valley Resort course, featuring wide open spaces and mountain valleys. Just west of the Teton Mountains and Yellowstone National Park lies the eastern loop, offering the Teton Reserve, Teton Springs and Pinecrest courses in picturesque river valleys.
