Idaho Resorts' Ski Deals

Idaho resorts are bringing on the deals this ski season.

Brundage Mountain

Early Season Snow Cat Fun
The Full-Day Snow Cat Trip, a guided excursion through Payette National Forest, includes powder skis, a buffet lunch and snacks and starts at $249 per person. A private snow cat adventure is offered for groups of 10 or less, starting at $1,600 on weekdays and $1,900 on weekends, with the option of a video package upgrade which provides each participant with their own DVD. The trip is available through Jan. 19 and is ideal for fall-line skiers or snowboards with some experience.

Learn to Ski Guarantee
Ski and snowboard novices ages 12 and up can receive unlimited Easy Street semi-private lessons, one semi-private lesson on the Bear Chair, two days of rentals and two Easy Street lift tickets for $99 through Jan. 31. For semi-private group lessons there is a two person minimum and six person maximum. Walk-ins are welcome.

Diva Day, $25 Lift Tickets for Women
Women ages 18 and up will receive full-day lift tickets for $25 on Feb. 2 as part of Diva Day. To receive another $25 lift ticket on Feb. 3, ladies only need to present their ticket from the previous day.

Lookout Pass

Free Ski School Lessons for Kids
The Lookout Pass Free Ski School will provide free ski lessons for beginners and intermediates ages 6 to 17 every Saturday morning beginning Jan. 12 until March 16. Students can register online through Jan. 26. Ski equipment and lift tickets are not included, but lift tickets do not need to be purchased during lessons.

Toyota Free Ski Fridays
Toyota drivers will receive one free lift ticket on Toyota Free Ski Fridays. Five mountains will participate in the event on separate weekends. Schweitzer Mountain will host on Jan. 25, Silver Mountain on Feb.1, Mt. Spokane on Feb. 8, Lookout Pass on Feb. 15 and 49 Degrees North on Feb. 22. Toyota representatives will be under a Toyota tent in the host resort's parking lot.

Ski Free on Your Birthday
Skiers can receive a free lift ticket on their birthday when presenting a photo ID with proof of birthday through April 1.

Lost Trail
2 for 1 Couples Tickets: Valentine's Day Couples will receive two lift tickets for the price of one on Valentine's Day at Lost Trail.

Ladies Day Program
The Ladies Day Program includes four full-day lift tickets, four one-and-a-half hour personalized training clinics and four lunches for $95; season pass holder receive $20 off. The program is offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on four Tuesdays in January, Febuary and March. Registration is by phone.

Learn to XC Ski Free Day
The Sandpoint Nordic Club and Schweitzer Mountain Resort are partnering to offer free cross-country skiing demos and lessons on beginner trails at "The Roundabout" on Jan. 22. The event includes free rentals on a reservation basis as well as snacks and hot chocolate. Lessons begin at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., last 45 minutes and are offered for classic skiing and skate skiing.

Free Beacon Training
Sundays at 10 a.m., Schweitzer Ski Patrol will offer free beacon training for skiers of all levels to learn how to properly use backcountry equipment. No sign ups or equipment is necessary, but it's recommended to bring one's own gear when possible.

College Daze Weekend
Students with a valid college ID can purchase lift tickets for $38 per day online or $48 per day at the window, in honor of College Daze weekend, Feb. 2 - Feb. 3. Additional College Daze discounts include 10 percent off in-town lodging with the promo code "daze" and drink and food specials.

Silver Mountain

Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month Deals
Beginners can learn to ski or ride with Silver Mountain's LSSM package, $49 for adults and $39 for youth, available every Monday and Thursday throughout January. The package includes a day lift ticket, a lesson and a rental. Additional programs such as group lessons and Minor's Camp Day Care are also available.
