Island of O'ahu Announces Special Offers for Travel Professionals

May 05, 2009

The O'ahu Visitors Bureau, in conjunction with the Hawai'i Tourism Authority (HTA), the state agency for tourism, and other industry partners in Hawai'i are pleased to announce special offers to travel professionals during Mahalo Month for Travel Professionals from April 1-May 31, 2009.

During this two-month period, Hawai'i-selling retail agents, tour operator staff and reservation agents are invited to visit and take advantage of special Mahalo ("thank you" in Hawaiian) rates to experience O'ahu firsthand.

"O'ahu offers the best of both worlds," said Noelani Schilling-Wheeler, senior director of sales and marketing of the O'ahu Visitors Bureau.

"We encourage our travel partners to visit O'ahu during Mahalo Month to take in our vibrant city life, enjoy our relaxing countryside, and see how visitors can experience so much more Hawai'i on the island of O'ahu."
