All 10 of Kimpton’s California San Francisco Bay Area hotels were recently awarded GS-33 Green Seal Silver certification. With these certifications, San Francisco-based Kimpton has achieved Green Seal certification for 41 of its 50 metropolitan city hotels nationwide. The company hopes to achieve 100 percent Green Seal certification through its company-wide EarthCare initiatives, which date back to the company’s inception in 1981.
Kimpton’s San Francisco area properties that achieved Green Seal certification include: Argonaut Hotel; Cypress; Harbor Court; Monaco San Francisco; Triton; Palomar San Francisco; Prescott; Serrano; Sir Francis Drake; and Tuscan Inn.
