This winter season, Montana offers visitors special lodging and activity packages with a variety of options for snow-seekers. Guests can choose from cozy bed-and-breakfast stays to ranch or resort lodging, as well as a range of snow adventures — including ski packages, snowmobiling, Yellowstone safaris and more.
For skiers, offers like the Powder Hound Package include four days of skiing and four nights lodging at Bridger Bowl for as little as $269 per person. Multi-activity ski options are also available, such as the four- or five-day Winter Adventure at the Izaak Walton Inn, which promises historic lodging with two meals a day, a ski tour into Glacier National Park, a group cross-country ski lesson and a half-day snowshoe adventure. Meanwhile, the Winter Wonderland Package at Moonlight Basin give skiers a three-night stay with ski-in/ski-out lodging for two days, as well as one day of snowshoeing or dog-sledding for $148 per person, per night throughout January.
Montana also provides options for vacationers seeking a more unique snow experience. A number of packages in Yellowstone Country offer snowcoach (a motorcoach or van adapted for snow terrain) tours, sleigh rides and safaris through the National Park. Guests can create their own half-, single- or multi-day safari guided by a professional naturalist/biologist with options for meals, admittance fees, equipment and lodging. Alternately, the All Yellowstone Sports Day Ultimate Wildlife Viewing Experience provides an all-day heated snowcoach tour to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, an overnight stay at Mammoth in Yellowstone National Park and two nights lodging in West Yellowstone for the opportunity to witness the wonders of winter through the comfort of a snowcoach. Seeley Lake Snowmobiling packages are another option, and include lodging, meals and mountain guide services for an exploration of northwest Montana.
