The Montana Office of Tourism is gearing up for the 2013 Montana Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Recreation, taking place March 24-26 in Helena, at the Helena Colonial Hotel — Red Lion.
Headlining presenters will bring tourism marketing and experience creation expertise. Presenters include Daniel Levine of the Avant Guide Institute, Martin Stoll of Sparkloft Media and Troy Thompson of Travel 2.0. The three speakers will open the conference on Monday, March 25, with two morning keynote presentations. Following their speeches, Stoll and Thompson will offer separate afternoon breakout sessions — a Facebook Laptop Lab with Stoll and two interactive social media sessions focused on reputation management with Thompson.
Registration for the conference is currently open, with forms available online. Registration rates are $140 through March 1, $160 from March 2-17 and $180 from March 18 through the conference dates.
A conference welcome reception will be held on Sunday, March 24, featuring a 1980’s costume contest with prizes.
