Montana’s Moonlight Basin Resort in Big Sky invites guests for the winter season with new offerings that make it more appealing to skiers and travelers.
A new direct flight from Newark, N.J., to Bozeman, Mont., from United Airlines began June 9, making the resort more accessible than ever. At the resort itself, a new restaurant was added for the 2011-2012 season. Jack Creek Grille & Bar features a local emphasis, and Chef Eric Stenberg has been highlighted in Food & Wine Magazine.
When combined with neighboring Big Sky resort, Moonlight Basin features some of the most skiable terrain in the U.S. Options such as Biggest Skiing in America tickets and special passes allow guests access to both Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort, providing more than 5,500 acres of downhill terrain, 27 lifts and over 220 trails.
In addition, every lodging option at Moonlight Basin features ski-in/ski-out access.
Moonlight Basin also welcomes non-skiers with a variety of activities. Offerings include snowshoeing, dog-sledding, sleigh rides and a spa for relaxation.
Guests can also easily visit Yellowstone National Park, which is only 18 miles from the resort.
