The Napa Valley Destination Council recently launched a brand-new iPhone application that enables travelers to plan and navigate their trips to the famed wine region of Napa Valley, Calif. The free Visit Napa Valley mobile application features an online visitor’s guide, a fully searchable winery guide, interactive GPS-enabled maps, an events calendar and exclusive offers. It is available for download at the Apple iTunes store or by visiting LegendaryNapaValley.com.
“As more people rely on their mobile devices for every day activities, Visit Napa Valley is a very exciting way for active guests to interact with the Napa Valley and have fingertip access to comprehensive destination resources,” said Clay Gregory, president and CEO of the Napa Valley Destination Council. “Not only is it an invaluable tool for cultivating relationships with visitors, but it also allows our guests to conveniently explore the legendary Napa Valley — through the discovery of real time events, exclusive special offers, interactive GPS-enabled maps and more.”
The iPhone app is endorsed by the Napa Valley Vintners association and also provides travelers with access to a database of more than 300 wineries, more than 100 B&Bs, 160 restaurants and numerous spas, events and local attractions.
