The ski season has begun in Telluride, Colo., and the resort destination will be even easier to reach with new air service from destinations in the West.
Beginning Dec. 15, Allegiant will offer nonstop service from Oakland International Airport (OAK) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) to Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) for the winter season. The flights, which will be available twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays through April 3, will provide travelers with a low-cost means of reaching Telluride with one-way fares starting as low as $113 from Oakland and $83 from Phoenix. The new service will also improve travel time from both areas to Telluride, and, for Phoenix residents, the Allegiant flights will be the quickest way to reach any destination ski area.
