New Mexico Anticipates Busy Ski Season for 2010/2011

Nov 16, 2010
Ski resorts throughout the state of New Mexico are gearing up for an anticipated busy ski and snowboarding season this year. After receiving a record amount of snowfall last year, state tourism officials believe that this year is poised to be a particularly successful ski season, especially for clients on a budget and for families.

"Our state ski's resorts offer families a unique, affordable vacation," said George Brooks, executive director of Ski New Mexico. "Since most of our resorts are owned and operated by families, they understand what makes a family vacation particularly special. New Mexico prides itself on comfortable hospitality, from warm welcomes to a variety of lodging options geared toward families to packages accommodating the tall and the small. Easy to get to and easy to enjoy, New Mexico has incredible days of skiing and riding in store for the whole family. If this sounds too good to be true, I invite you to experience it for yourself."
