Snohomish County Tourism Bureau Hiking Guide |
The Snohomish County Tourism Bureau has released two new guides to help clients plan trips to the destination, located 12 miles north of Seattle.
The bureau's new hiking guide promotes pedestrian opportunities in the county, from outdoor family excursions to wilderness backpacking adventures. Descriptions of 20 trails suggest options for hiking near beaches, rivers, lakes, old-growth forests, wildflower meadows, mountaintops, waterfalls, wildlife habitats and historic sites.
Snohomish County's new arts and culture guide shares suggestions for clients who want to experience music, dance, theater, galleries and museums. Clients can learn more about the area's rich heritage, which has been influenced by Native American, maritime, pioneer, logging, mining, railroad, farming and industrial histories.
