Cherry Wood Bed Breakfast and Barn, a guest ranch in Washington's wine country, has partnered with Ummelina International Day Spa to create Open Sky Spa Retreat.
Open since May 21, 2011, the new wine country spa at Cherry Wood presents hydrotherapy and massage as well as Feldenkrais sessions with expert Tiffany Fewel. Treatments are offered in one of the ranch’s signature teepees.
“With our horseback winery rides, Cherry Wood Bed Breakfast and Barn has long been showing guests just how good the outside of a horse can be for the inside of a person,” said Cherry Wood owner Pepper Fewel. “Hoofing it through the Yakima Valley Wine Country, bedding down in posh teepees, sitting around the campfire sipping wines from the same latitude as the great Boudreaux and Burgundy regions of France and now receiving world class spa services—what could be better for the inside of a person than that?”
Open Sky Spa features willow-screened stone and adobe open-air baths, an aromatic foot bath ritual area, hand washing table and a resting teepee. It offers a variety of spa treatment rituals inspired by the culture, history and landscape of the Yakima River Valley.
Spa services are offered seasonally from May through October.
