Denver welcomed the new SpringHill Suites Denver Downtown at Metro State, which opened this month. The new, 150-suite property is adjoining the 28,000-square-foot Hotel and Hospitality Learning Center at the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
“We are thrilled to have helped create not only a fantastic new lodging option for downtown Denver but an amazing student laboratory where future hospitality leaders can get hands-on experience,” said Walter Isenberg, CEO of Sage Hospitality. “We're confident that visitors to Denver will be impressed that they can enjoy this unique hotel in a prime downtown location at such a fantastic price.”
The hotel also expects to receive LEED silver certification.
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Denver, the $45 million new hotel is also situated just a quick walk from the Pepsi Center, the Colorado Convention Center and the popular Larimer Square, LoDo district and 16th Street Mall.
The SpringHill Suites Denver Downtown at Metro State features 150 spacious and stylish guest suites, each with a flexible work space with a well-lit desk and ergonomic chair, as well as a separate sleeping area. Each suite also offers a microwave, mini-fridge, a seating area with pull-out sofa bed and a spa-like bathroom. Hotel amenities include complimentary hot breakfast served daily, a market, a fitness center and complimentary wireless Internet.
Rates start at $219 per night for weekdays and $149 per night on weekends.
