Park City Mountain Resort recently introduced its new, three-day I Ride Park City Freestyle Camps. The camp, inspired by the “I Ride Park City” Web series, will train skiers and snowboarders in a private progression park built solely for the camp’s use. Students will also learn how to capture video of their work with GoPro cameras and, then, learn how to edit their film. Once finished, students will have digital film that they can upload onto Facebook or YouTube.
The freestyle camp is geared toward intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders, ages 9-15. Campers will receive in-depth training with a maximum of five students per coach. At the end of the camp, students will have fine-tuned their skills, whether they have just learned their first jump or perfected a 540.
The I Ride Park City Freestyle Camp Spring Break sessions run March 27-29 and April 3-5. Each session takes place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The cost is $450 and includes a lift ticket and lunch, or $330 not including a lift ticket.
